Seminar Day Kids

Hands-on STEM fun for your tiny Techers while you enjoy the day’s sessions.

A Morning of Discovery

Tiny Techers ages 5–13 are invited to join Caltech undergraduate and graduate students for engaging STEM activities, arts and crafts, and small-group experiments. It’s a morning designed to spark curiosity and inspire the next generation of scientists.

8:00 a.m.–12:20 p.m. (PT) | Hameetman Center MPR, above Red Door Cafe

Children rejoin their parent or guardian for lunch as part of the Seminar Day schedule.

Registration

$30 per child Includes T-shirt, breakfast, snacks, and all activity materials.

Add to your Seminar Day in-person registration by Friday, May 1, 2026.

What to Know

Limited capacity: 50 children ages 5–13, first-come, first-served.

No walk-in registration: You must register in advance through the Seminar Day registration process.

Parent registration required: At least one parent or guardian must be registered for Seminar Day.

Caltech Educational Outreach

Part of Caltech’s Center for Teaching, Learning, and Outreach, Educational Outreach brings cutting-edge science to K–12 students through hands-on, standards-aligned programming.
