Join recent Caltech and Harvard Alumni in SoCal for a virtual holiday mixer and scavenger hunt!

The Recent Graduate Committee of the Harvard Club of Southern California and the Caltech Alumni Association are partnering up to host a virtual, team-based home scavenger hunt and holiday mixer. We hope to spark friendly competition and send both Harvard and Caltech alumni into the new year with new friends.

Caltech alumni living in Southern California who have earned a Caltech degree since 2010 are invited to join the fun!

Artificial Intelligence (AI) is a remarkable technology that has profoundly impacted our lives. It now beats humans at some of their own games. How did we get here? In this lecture, Professor Yaser Abu-Mostafa (PhD '83) will describe the scientific journey of AI since the 1980s, as well as Caltech's foundational role in its development, providing examples of AI's achievements and its potential. He will also address the hype that surrounds AI, both positive and negative, and put it in scientific perspective.
