The Evening
President Ray Jayawardhana is coming to Washington, DC, to meet with the Caltech community. Join fellow alumni, students, parents, donors, and friends of the Institute for an evening with the president.
What to Expect
The evening opens with a reception, followed by a fireside chat, questions from the audience, and time for conversation. President Jayawardhana will share his early impressions of Caltech and JPL, the priorities taking shape for the years ahead, and the ways you can help shape Caltech’s future.
About the President
Ray Jayawardhana is the 10th president of Caltech and professor of astronomy. A renowned astrophysicist, he studies the origin and evolution of planetary systems and the prospects for life in the universe. He is also an award-winning author, a Carl Sagan Medal recipient, and has an asteroid named after him: 4668 Rayjay.
Registration
Registration is required, and space is limited. There is no cost to attend.
