What is the recommended attire for Seminar Day?
Seminar Day is casual and comfortable clothing and shoes are recommended.
How do I register?
Register online or call us at 626.395.6592. Register by Monday, April 23 to secure the Early Bird rate.
How can I find out who’s attending?
See who’s attending. Attendee lists can be sorted by the weekend or the event – just click for the drop down menu to make your selections. Additionally, you may download a pdf of the list in this screen as well.
Do I need to register in advance?
We can accept walk-in attendees but we strongly encourage to register in advance. To take advantage of the Early Bird rate for Seminar Day, the deadline is Monday, April 23.
What if I register for a session and change my mind?
Session selections are non-binding and to help aid in planning only. During Seminar Day you may attend any session you would like, there is no need to alert us to any changes.
I’ve already registered, but how do I register for additional events or make changes to my registration?
Please refer to your email confirmation message and you will see “Click here to edit your registration information” at the top of the page. Click to register for additional events or add additional guests. To cancel events you have registered for (even free ones) please contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org or 626.395.6592.
What forms of payment do you accept?
We accept MasterCard and Visa, as well as personal checks.
If I need to cancel my reservation can I receive a refund?
To receive a refund, written notice of your cancellation must be emailed no later than Monday, May 7. Contact us at email@example.com or 626.395.6592 with questions.
What if I have dietary restrictions?
To the best of our ability, we will try to accommodate the dietary needs of our guests. Please indicate any restrictions when registering. Please contact the Alumni Association with any questions at 626.395.6592 or firstname.lastname@example.org.
Where do I check in when I arrive on campus?
Check-in for Seminar Day is at the tent on Beckman Mall. Please refer to the schedule for location details.

Where can I purchase Caltech memorabilia?
Visit the Caltech Store in their temporary location: Millikan Library, 1st Floor.

What are the dining options on campus on Saturday?
All Alumni Boxed Lunch 12:30 p.m. – 2:00 p.m., registration is required.
The Continental Breakfast and Wine and Cheese reception are included in your Seminar Day registration.
Chandler Café 9:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m.
Red Door Marketplace 12:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m.
Is there wireless access?
Free wireless internet is available through the Caltech Guest network, no password is needed.
Is there childcare available?
Kids Klub Pasadena is offering childcare during the weekend for children 2 – 12 years old.

Mention “Caltech” to receive a 20% discount and have the $35 per child initiation fees waived. Applications must be submitted by 5:00 p.m. on Friday, May 11. Download and complete an application at kidsklubcdc.com by clicking on "About Us", then "Forms" from the row of links across the top, and then the yellow box labeled "Kids Klub Forms" on the right hand side.
Already a Kids Klub member? Please call (626) 795-2501 no later than Monday, May 14th by 5:00 pm to make reservations.
