Caltech Together: Purcellville, VA

See a private research-grade observatory in the Shenandoah Foothills.

Join fellow Caltech alumni, postdocs, and friends at the home of Mark Foster (BS ’82) for a summer afternoon centered around a rare look inside his private 0.6-meter research-grade observatory.

Mark will lead guests through the observatory and share a closer look at the equipment and setup behind it. Before and after the tour, spend time poolside over a potluck lunch with members of the local Caltech community.
