On June 24, 2025, Techers gathered in London for a rare opportunity to explore the historic Royal Institution—a landmark in the history of science.
Techers heard a fireside chat between President Thomas F. Rosenbaum, the Sonja and William Davidow Presidential Chair and professor of physics and James Arroyo OBE, moderated by Thomas Fink (BS ’94), founding director of the London Institute for Mathematical Sciences. The discussion focused on how British and American scientists can better support one another.
The evening concluded with tours of the Royal Institution’s museum and iconic lecture theatre, followed by continued conversation among alumni and friends of the Institute.
