Duncan, a well-known popularizer of astronomy, has spent decades modernizing planetariums. Horseshoe Bay is designated as an IDA International Dark Sky Community and one of the top destinations in the United States to go see the most beautiful Milky Way.
During Duncan’s tenure as Director of Fiske Planetarium at the University of Colorado Boulder from 2002-2018, the facility became the most technically advanced planetarium in the US.
