This year’s Tables for Techers brought together the Caltech community across the globe. From Switzerland to Salt Lake City, more than 800 alumni, students, postdocs, and faculty gathered around dining tables or met up at restaurants to connect, share stories, and enjoy meaningful conversations. With over 150 hosts and co-hosts welcoming Techers, the event exceeded expectations and proved once again that great things happen when Techers come together over a meal.
Hosted in homes, restaurants, and even on a farm across the world, each Table reflected its host’s unique personality while welcoming attendees to have a seat. Conversations flowed easily, whether about favorite Caltech memories, career paths, or life’s latest adventures. Many participants said the warm atmosphere of hosts and fellow guests made it easy to meet new people, discuss the ways Caltech has changed, and share life advice in a more personal and relaxed way. “Everyone who came had a great time and was super appreciative. It was fun learning how Tech has changed over the years, for better and worse. As we look ahead, we’re excited to continue growing this new Caltech tradition.
