Alumnus Chang is Howard Hughes Medical Institute Investigator

Christopher J. Chang ('97 BS, MS CH), assistant professor of chemistry and faculty scientist in the Chemical Sciences Division of Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory, has been appointed a Howard Hughes Medical Institute investigator. Chang probes the roles of metals and oxidation chemistry in the brain, and studies aging and neurodegenerative diseases such as Alzheimer's and Parkinson's.
