Ted Rogers worked at Intuitive Surgical for the past 15 years, most recently as the Vice President of Vision Systems.  Before he worked at Intuitive Surgical he worked at Asyst Technologies, Edge Technologies and briefly had a private consulting business.  He was passionate about sailing - International 14s, Moths and just about any sailboat he could get aboard.  He loved to backpack in the Sierras and enjoyed long bike rides.  He dearly loved his family who miss him every day. He is survived by his wife, Anne and daughter, Fiona (age 19) and Maeve (age 15) as well as his parents, step-parents, siblings, nephews and his niece.  He died at home in Alameda, CA, with his wife by his side. In 2017 he was diagnosed with Prostate Cancer which developed into terminal Metastatic Prostate Cancer.
