Obituary: James Heaney

Heaney, James Gerard Jr., age 36, of Glen Rock, NJ, on Sunday, October 27, 2013. Born and raised in Smithtown, NY, James lived in Hoboken before moving to Glen Rock seven years ago. A former Eagle Scout, James had earned a Masters degree in Business Administration (MBA) and was a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA). He worked as a Data Analyst for Standard & Poor's in New York and was a parishioner of Our Lady of Mount Carmel R.C. Church in Ridgewood. James was the beloved husband of Sharon (nee: Sullivan) Heaney. Loving father of his twin girls, Layne and Amelia. Dear son of James and Margaret (nee: McMullan) Heaney of Smithtown, NY. Dearest brother of Kate Bulfin and her husband Brendan of Smithtown. James is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

Funeral will depart at 9:00 AM on Saturday, November 2, 2013 from the Browning- Forshay Funeral Home, 557 Lafayette Ave., Hawthorne, for a 9:30 AM funeral mass at Our Lady of Mt. Carmel R.C. Church, Ridgewood. Interment will follow at Christ the King Cemetery, Franklin Lakes. Friends may visit with the family at the funeral home on Thursday from 7-9 PM and on Friday from 2-4 and 7-9 PM.
