Florian Bohn (BS '01 EE, PHD '12 EE)

Co-Founder and VP of Engineering at Auspion

Florian Bohn started out at Axiom Microdevices, where he helped define and implement high-frequency RF integrated circuits that shipped more than 250M units. At Agilent Laboratories he worked on CDR circuits and novel test measurement systems. Prior to co-founding Auspion, Florian served as a Lead Scientific Researcher at Caltech, leading engineering and operational aspects of the microwave system implementation of Caltech’s Space Solar Power Initiative.

Julie Sheridan Eng (BS '89 EE)

Executive Vice President and General Manager of 3D Sensing at Finisar Corporation

Julie Eng holds a B.A. (summa cum laude) in Physics from Bryn Mawr College and a B.S. (with honors) in Electrical Engineering with honors from Caltech. Julie earned her M. S. and Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering from Stanford University. She has published over a dozen papers and holds seven patents.

Ashok Krishnamoorthy (BS '86 ENG)

Chairman and CEO of Axalume

Among numerous other honors, Ashok Krishnamoorthy was awarded the 2005 ICO international prize in Optics for his early work on optically-interconnected systems. He holds 200 US patents, has contributed to over 290 technical publications and 8 book chapters, and has been invited to speak at over 100 international conferences.
