Join us at the home of Mark Foster (BS '82). Enjoy the chance to connect with fellow alumni at a BBQ and pool party in the beautiful Shenandoah foothills. Mark will offer a tour inside his private 0.6m research-grade observatory.

About Mark Foster (BS ’82)

Mark Foster has been a serial entrepreneur in the greater DC tech community since graduating Caltech.  He is best known for inventing telephone number portability, the ability to keep your phone number and change carrier or technology, and founding Neustar (NYSE:NSR) headquartered in Sterling, VA, where he was CTO from 1995-2008.  In between consulting and volunteer work, Mark also spends his time running a 0.6m research-grade observatory on his property in the Shenandoah foothills.
