HELP THE LOCAL COMMUNITY
Join Caltech students and help with community outreach! JPL Trail Builders clear hiking trails, the AIDS Service Center supports those infected with the HIV virus, and Union Station in Pasadena prepares and serves meals for the homeless. Get involved! Docents don't need to be an astronomer or a Palomar expert to apply and will participate in a wide range of activities for the visiting public, including leading tours, answering questions, assisting visitors with exhibits and with daytime observing of the Sun.
