Caltech Alumni House

Located on the east side of Caltech's campus, the Alumni House is a convenient place for alumni and friends to drop in on while visiting Caltech. Members of the Association can use the Bascom Alumni Library downstairs for checking email or making local phone calls, sending a fax or making a few copies, and our deck is a pleasant place to take a break in a garden setting. The House is available for rental by Association members up to six months in advance for parties, receptions, meetings and other events. The Bascom Alumni Library

Named to honor a gift from the late John D. Bascom (BS 1932 PH), the Bascom Alumni Library provides a convenient work area with amenities such as internet access (you can plug in your own laptop too), a phone for local calls, and a small collection of Caltech memorabilia and publications from years gone by, including a complete collection of Big T yearbooks. Parking at Caltech

Visitors parked on campus must display a valid parking permit between the hours of 7 am-5 pm, Monday-Friday. Visitor permits may be purchased at the rate of $1 per hour, $5 per day, or $15 per week. A $5 daily permit is valid through the end of the business day (5 pm) in which the permit is purchased. Permits for parking on the Caltech campus are available from automated pay stations at the following locations (pdf map):

• Parking Lot #6 (Tournament Lot)
• Structure #3 (California Structure)
• Structure #4 (Holliston Structure)
• Parking Lot #12 (Lura Lot)
